Business process automation for small businesses in Quebec
I automate the tasks your team repeats every week: double entry, reminders, follow-ups, reports. You walk me through your week, I spot what could run on its own, and I build it.
Write to meWhat is business process automation?
Automating a process means handing software a repetitive task that a person does by hand today. The task then happens on its own, at the right time, without being forgotten.
The goal is to free up time for work that needs judgment: talking to clients, handling special cases, selling.
Which tasks can a small business automate?
A small business can automate almost any task that always follows the same steps. The most common:
- Copying orders received by email into a spreadsheet.
- Confirming appointments and sending text or email reminders.
- Following up with a client when a file is waiting on them.
- Preparing a quote from a template.
- Putting the weekly report together.
- Moving information from one piece of software to another.
Where should a small business start with automation?
Start with the task that costs the most time every week, not the most impressive one. To find it, I look at a typical week with you: who does what, with which tools, and where things get stuck.
I then propose a first automation, with its price and timeline. The next ones are added to the same system, one at a time.
Do I need to replace my current software?
No, not necessarily. When software you already use can exchange data, I connect it to the rest instead of replacing it. I only suggest replacing a tool when the tool itself is the cause of the problem.
How much does process automation cost?
The cost is split into two amounts, both known before we start: a fixed price for the build, paid once, and a monthly subscription that covers hosting, monitoring and your change requests.
The price depends on the number of steps and the software to connect. I give it to you in writing after our first meeting.
What is the difference between automation and artificial intelligence?
Automation follows fixed rules: when an order arrives, it is added to the board. Artificial intelligence helps when the task requires understanding text, such as summarizing a call or sorting a request. The two are often combined in the same tool.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if my process changes?
You write to me and I adjust the automation. These changes are included in the monthly subscription.
What happens if an automation fails?
I monitor the automations I host. When a step fails, for example because another piece of software is down, I see it and fix it.
Will my team have to learn a new tool?
As little as possible. A good automation is mostly noticed through the tasks nobody has to do anymore. When a new screen is needed, I train your team.
